The Brief

Crohn’s does not just affect the individual but in a sense affects the lives by degree of families, friends, business colleagues and health care professionals. Helping With Crohn’s brings together all those who are affected by the disease as they come to terms with something for which there appears to be no one solution.

We developed an on-line social network with the primary aim to connect people and families around the world and by so doing help them to discuss their experiences and support each other, discuss treatments and procedures, talk about what it is like to live with a stoma, how you live after the reversal and how to control diet and medication to live your life to the full. The site will also provide valuable links, promote the best places to get medical aids and supplies and promote services to the people who may not know to whom to turn.

What We Did

• Developed a social network were people can login, find friends, send messages and add discussions
• Advertiser portal for good causes and suppliers
• Database management for registered users for email marketing
• Concentrated PPC campaign
• Brand development.

The Results

Helping With Crohn’ has been very successful in attracting people to login in and connect to other members. Helping With Crohn’ has featured in the Yorkshire Post, Telegraph and Argus, Evening Post and NHS magazine. It has been given permission to the NHS network of surgeons and advisers as well as associations with Nationwide suppliers.
